Having worked in recruitment for the last 15 years, I have been lucky enough to work across multiple sectors, from Industrial to Education and all sorts in between.
This is why I am so excited to be starting my new chapter within the Tech/IT industry. I believe my versatility to be an asset has allowed me to meet and engage with people from all walks of life.
This is where I believe my strengths lay, in my relationship building skills. I love meeting new people from all cultures to learn about their beliefs, opinions and generally what makes them tick, basically what makes them happy in life. I feel this will be a key factor in my new role as part of the talent management team with Nimble, to help grow an already outstanding team of specialists.
My relationship skills are also a big part of my personal life as I enjoy nothing more than heading to the local pub for a glass of wine or enjoying a nice meal out with friends (something I have desperately missed through lockdown).
Speaking of lockdown, I now appear to have become a dog walking expert, finding new local woods and parks and taking him out on more walks than even he would like I think, but it does mean I get my 10k steps in though lol. This said I can’t wait for the day I can lay on a beach again listening to the waves lapping the sand (maybe even a small cocktail in hand), it looks like there may be finally light at the end of the tunnel for this.
What is clear is that in a short space of time I can see that Nimble is the perfect fit for me. My new Nimble family are an amazing team of people who genuinely care about you, they take such a nurturing approach in all they do. Their values speak for themselves and this is why I am over the moon to be part of their journey and part of a very bright future.
